I. Introduction

Blue Box, LLC (“Company,” “we” or “us”) offers various HVAC and coil cleaning services that are unique and engages with existing and potential customers on its Website, www.blueboxair.com (“Website”). This privacy notice aims to inform you about how we collect, use, disclose and store information about you when using various features on the Website. The Company has made it as simple as possible to control the information you share through the Website. Whether such information is kept private, becomes publicly available by search engine index, is shared with some of our third-party service providers, or gets permanently deleted.

 

II. What Information Do We Collect Through The Website?

We only collect information about users of the Website if we have a reason to do so. For example, we collect data necessary to process your submission forms, confirm the services you purchased from us, communicate with you about our products and services, or improve our services to you.

(3) Information collected from third parties such as service providers we use or through social networking sites.

1. Information Users Directly Submitted to Us:

    • If you contact us through the Website, we will keep a record of the correspondence.

      We gather various information types, including information that identifies or may identify you as an individual (“Personal Information”). We collect Personal Information, such as name and email address, when you set up an account on the Website or subscribe to our newsletter.
    • Other Information:
      In addition to Personal Information, if you have uploaded additional information by submitting correspondence through the Website, we will maintain such information.

2. Information We Collect Automatically:

We may also receive information about you from third parties that provide necessary services such as payment processing and shipping services. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful requests for information we receive, or otherwise protect our rights.

Also, suppose you log in to the Website through your Facebook account or have linked your Blue Box account with your Google or Facebook accounts. In that case, the Company may receive information from that service (such as your username and friends list, etc.) due to the authorization procedures for that service. These are just some examples of many ways that your Personal Information may automatically be transmitted to us by third parties over the Internet.
 

III. How We Use and Share The Information Collected Through The Website

1. How Company Uses Your Information:
We may use the information collected from visitors to our Website for a variety of purposes, including to:

  1. Set up a user account.
  2. Process and complete form submissions.
  3. Respond to inquiries and comments and provide customer service and support.

The Company does not sell personal information collected through the Website in exchange for any monetary consideration. Civ. Code 1798.140(t)(1)). IV. Security

Presently, no company or service can guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise user information security at any time. However, we take reasonable measures to protect information about you. If you have opened an account with us, your account is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You must prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer or device and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.

V. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information

You can exercise your rights regarding your Personal Information collected through the Website easily in several ways:

1. EU General Data Protection Regulation

As of the date of this Privacy Notice (“Notice”), we do offer services outside of the U.S. Even so, if any resident of the European Union has submitted his or her Personal Information through our Website where such information was captured and shared with third parties through cookies or similar technologies used on the Website, we have provided options below to access, review, update, rectify, and delete any Personal Information we hold about you, or exercise any other right available to you under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Forget me/Opt-out Form: To request that we delete all the information we collected about you through the Website please complete and submit the form available here. Please note that we may still use aggregated and de-identified Personal Information that does not identify any individual and may retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

    When you click on the “inspector” icon, it opens a “Privacy Settings” dialog box. The categories of cookies the Website typically deploys during a browsing session are listed on the box’s left side. 2. California Residents

  • To Opt-Out: Company does not sell Personal Information collected through the Website in exchange for any monetary consideration. However, suppose we were to share your Personal Information with third parties (through cookies or similar technologies). In that case, you can opt-out of the use of cookies by clicking on the “inspector” icon, which appears on the lower right corner of each webpage on the Website.
    Clicking on the Inspector brings up a “Privacy Settings” dialog box. Cookie categories are listed in the dialogue box. The Privacy Settings box provides the option to allow or disable cookies under each category. Illustrations of the “inspector” icon and the Privacy Settings dialogue box are provided above in Section V, Paragraph 1, subparagraph d.

    • California and Delaware “Do Not Track” Disclosures: California and Delaware law require Company to indicate whether it honors “Do Not Track” settings in your browser concerning targeted advertising. The Company adheres to the standards set out in this Privacy Notice and does not monitor or respond to Do Not Track browser requests.
    • The Right to Non-Discrimination: Company will not discriminate against you (such as by denying goods or providing a different level or quality of goods or services) for exercising any of the rights available to you.
    • Children: We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13.
